Stay At Home Mom

Hours available: 7:45 am 5:00 pm Monday through Friday

Cost: $5 per hour. The second child or part time child would be at a 25% discount, so $3.75 per hour. This includes a healthy morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. Parents will provide any necessary diapers, formula, breastmilk, bottles (I can keep them here to wash and send home nightly, weekly, or when done using them), and baby food.
Our days will be semi-structured; allowing for flexibility but with consistent snack, meal and rest times. I will follow the parents wishes regarding feeding and nap schedules (feed on-demand, every 3 hours, etc ).
We will have reading time, as well as time to learn and develop both gross and fine motor skills. I strive for a balance of free play and intentionalized play; both indoors and outdoors as weather permits. Older children will be allowed some screen time. It will be kept to a minimum, will be educational and will be communicated to the parents. We will also try to do outings on a bi-weekly basis (more often as weather allows). Outings will include area parks, the Building for Kids and the NEW Zoo (any trips involving car rides will be communicated ahead of time so parents can approve).
We will learn Sunday School style songs, as well as some preschool songs. And will listen to a mix of classical, children s and jazz music during some of free play time.
I will communicate with parents as needed, minimum of weekly, regarding child s temperament, developments, milestones, etc. This will be done verbally upon pick up or drop off, as well as weekly notes.
I am a mom of five children, ages 1, almost 3, 6, 7 and 8. During the summer our outings will be limited to walking distance. We do have a large yard with plenty of room to play and explore.
