Stay At Home Mom Care

Hello Parents. I am a 26 year old stay at home mother. My son is 2.5 and has a speech delay and I would really like to get him around other children. I have recently been entertaining the idea of taking on a couple children, preferably close to the same age, in my home for child care. I have a long history of working with children, starting over 15 years ago. I first became certified in first aid/CPR when I was 13 years old in a Child Care course given by the Red Cross. I babysat up to 5 children at a time at that age, including the grandchildren of the Mayor in my hometown. I am the oldest of 6, with a 10 year age gap between the youngest and myself. That is how my experience began so early. Since, I have nannied for a couple different families as well as teaching at a Child Development Center for children 6 weeks-12 years of age. My home is extremely child safe. I have a huge fenced backyard with a swing/slide set. We have a 7 month old puppy that we have had since she was 7 weeks old and is used to my toddler constantly in her face, pulling her ears/tail, biting her, pinching her and jumping on her and she pays no mind at all. She is extremely sweet and patient. My fianc has been a Deputy with Cobb County Sheriff's Office for 7 years and will be around from time to time (and is also CPR certified). I have a spotless background (not even a ticket). I have several references that I would be more than happy to provide to you upon request.
