Large Group Activity: This activity is Teacher directed. Activities include reading a book on the week's theme followed by children participating in a related project. Example: if the theme is the water and the sea, children may paint on paper shaped like boats and play with toy boats and plastic sea creatures at the water-filled manipulative table.
Mid-day - Before Lunch: After playing outdoors, Teachers assistants help children put away jackets or hats, complete toileting activities and wash their hands to prepare for lunch. In addition: When lunches are catered, children are encouraged to serve themselves. Children chose the foods they want to eat. Teachers never force children to clean their plates. When parents provide lunch, assistance's heat or unwrap food and sit with the group conversing. After nap there is usually a nutritional snack. Then outdoor recess, filled with age appropriate fun activities.
Closing: Children enjoy helping adults clean up, and doing so builds independence. We encourage the children to wash hands after eating, bathroom, and activities during the day. Teachers and Assistant's are clean,and disinfect to provide children with a safe and healthy environment. Child-sized broom and dust pans are available to allow them to contribute to keeping their classroom clean. We are opened minded to any suggestions from parents, guardians, friends, and family to make our children have a happy and safe day.

My program is very unique, because I can bring these important plans to your home, were a child may feel safer and more comfortable around is everyday surroundings.
