My son has had the best time at Starr. He is so excited about all the new materials he brings home and especially the prizes he earns each week. Whitney and all of the tutors at the center really have a way with him :-)
A few days ago we read a Step 3 Iron Man book. It was the first time I thought he was ready to read it himself. He did awesome. Just a few months ago I looked at this book and thought he was far from ready and now, he read it great with only a few moments of help along the way. He feels very proud which just propels him to do it even more. Being able to read is extremely empowering and he is finally seeing it. Wonderful thing to watch.
