After a 20 year career in academia as a counselor and professor, I turned to care giving. I have worked with numerous children with an array of disabilities as well as afflicted seniors in care giving facilities and at home. I have an enormous amount of patience and tenderness even as I am diligent about keeping those I work with on a developmental schedule. All my years of teaching have enabled me to offer a guided style of care, which ultimately motivates the child to fully participate in the designed program.
