Staccio Family Childcare

I am a stay at home Mom who has been working in the field of early childhood for the past 12 years in preschool, daycare, and nanny settings. I have worked with children from birth to 12 years of age. I attended school for Early Childhood Education, and owning my own home daycare has always been my main goal in life. I am CPR and First Aid certified.

I live in my home with my husband and 2 year old daughter. We also have 2 cats and a dog (the animals can be separated from the children however, they are all friendly.) We enjoy spending time outside, attending sporting events, and just time as a family in general. We have a close knit extended family, with sisters and brothers, as well as nieces and several younger cousins.

Our home has a large play area for the children, as well as a fenced in backyard. We are close to parks and playgrounds, also.

I offer reasonable rates and I'm available from 6am to 6pm. However, I am flexible on both of these. I also offer a morning snack, breakfast, and afternoon snacks for your child, as well as juice, milk, and water. I try to keep all meals and snacks healthy. We do a daily art activity, and also occasionally do cooking activities.

I believe a child's early experiences enrich and stimulate future growth. Children deserve to be treated and respected, as individuals, in an environment that welcomes reason, exploration, questions, and imagination. I respect each child's need for love, security, acceptance, warmth, and stimulation.

I am a very talkative person and basically an open book. I also consider myself a very reasonable person. So, if there is anything you would like to know or ask please do not hesitate. I also have references if you would like them.
