Sprouting Spirits

Sprouting Spirits offers both holistic childcare and classes. Our newest program, Conscious Care, is now enrolling children ages 3-6 for our outdoor classroom program! Conscious Care is curated to develop you little one's mind, body, and spirit through guided exploration. Sprouting Spirits seeks to enhance the typical nannying or school setting by cultivating a social environment filled with guided opportunities to imagine, explore, and create in an outdoor setting. Children are invited to build loving connections within self and develop meaningful friendships through holistic activities that are designed to grow the whole child. Each day children will be invited to create art, explore their feelings through the chakras, manage emotions with EFT tapping, practice yoga and mindful breathing, play, and more! In addition to Conscious Care, Sprouting Spirits offers toddler play groups on Fridays. There are monthly classes for children up to 12 and family events. See the website for public events or reach out to book a private class.

Kayla knew from a young age that she wanted to help children grow into incredible beings! She began working as a babysitter, and has over 15 years of child care experience. Kayla has an M.SEd. in Early Childhood Education and a B.S. in Psychology. She holds a MA teacher license and taught pre-kindergarten for 7 years at a MA public school. Kayla has experience working with special needs and understands how to accommodate for different learning/behavioral styles. Additionally, she is CPR certified.

Kayla's interest in holistic well-being and spirituality developed in college. She began researching different practices and was introduced to reiki. From their she began the her own spiritual journey. Kayla became a certified reiki master in 2017. Towards the end of 2019, Kayla completed Dancing Jaguar's Spirit Camp teacher program. While excited to teach "Spirit Camp" in the summer, Kayla wanted to create a way for children to access these concepts throughout the whole year! Thus, Sprouting Spirits blossomed into reality. In August of 2021, Kayla moved across country to Venice, CA, and is excited to bring Sprouting Spirits to the West Coast.
