Sprouting Seedlings

Hello My name is Mercedes and I have been working with children for 13 years. I find pleasure in caring and teaching young children as well as preparing them for PreK. I have experience working with many kinds of children including children with learning and behavioral problems. I use various programs and methods that will help your child learn his/her alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors. I will teach your child social skills and language skills. I also have some programs and tools that will help your child learn to read.

I have four play areas in my home. The primary play area has dramatic play, music, library, blocks, manipulatives and a large easel where children can color or paint. I have an audio center where older children can hear fun books being read to them. In another room I have a transportation center. I also have a room where we have a toy box full of a variety of toys. Outside I have a small court area where children can play with toys, play basketball, have fun with bubbles, or have a picnic. I also have a brand new playground with two swings a slide and a mini trampoline (picture not yet uploaded)
My method of discipline consists of redirecting your child in a kind loving way and helping them make good choices through modeling.

My schedule is from 6:30am to 6:00pm. as well as nights and weekends.
I provide a variety of organic hot meals as well as snacks.
Your child will also be learning proper hygiene through hand washing and teeth brushing daily routines.
