My name is Holly and currently (do not as of January 2015) have a ft or pt in my Glen Ellyn home for your child, but please read my bio and keep me in mind in the future. I have two of my own at home and only am interested in caring for 3 total children in the home. Your child would be a wonderful addition to my happy crew of two. I have a degree in Elementary Education and was originally certified K-6. I taught second and third grade in Ilkey, England and Salem, MA before working with families with younger children in a home environment as a nanny. I have 20 years experience of providing care to children ages newborn through age twelve. I am not looking to open up a large daycare and would feel most comfortable with 3 children. In this way they get some socialization but also focused, constant care without crowding. I am just about to renew my CPR certification and am committed to providing a safe and happy environment where your child is protected and cared for, as if they were my own. Everyone is really great at one thing and my talent and specialty is working with and caring for children. I am an Illinois native and have a lifelong love of learning, all things French, art, literature and adventure in general. I am open to providing care for your infant or toddler and I have a lot of experience with multiples and would consider a set of twins. I provide age appropriate development building activities, do lots of reading- complete with funny voices.
