Special Needs Evening Care

Part-time, evenings only, no weekends, $15-$20/hr - I've been a parent for 20 years, and have worked as a CNA in the geriatric field. My youngest daughter is 2, has special needs, and I have experience in working with developmental delays (my kiddo gets physical and speech therapies weekly, occupational therapy every other week) through Jefferson County's Birth to 3 Program. I'm comfortable with working with the therapists and following through with therapies while children are in my care. I'm currently working to learn sign language as my child is non-verbal, and am going back to school Spring 2014 for Early Childhood Development and Education, with a focus on special needs. I am certified through the American Heart Association in Basic First Aid, CPR, and Infant CPR as of March 2013. I also am well-versed in gastronomy tubes/nutrition (Kangaroo Joey pumps as well as bolus). It's difficult to find child care in the evenings that is consistent (I speak from personal experience!). I gave up my career because of this, and am now looking to help out other parents in my area with this same issue.
