am a special needs mom here In Arizona. My beautiful daughter just turned 18 this year. She was diagnosed with Autism when she was 3 years old. The years have gone by so very fast for us and now we face her future as an autistic adult. She is very smart and social, but it will be years before she might be able to self sustain employment in our society if that is even a possibility in her case. I came up with the idea of creating a work environment for the both of us to share together, side by side as a team! Special Needs Cleaning..... a job where we do house cleaning together in our community for half of the market rate. She is assisted in her tasks that will accomplish more habilitation for her, and yet we together, provide a meaningful service for the customers! This month we have officially launched the idea into a genuine family business. My dream is to get a grant for expanding this idea, and widen this concept to help other families and their special needs adults.
