Southport Preschool And Daycare

Hello. My name is Kristin, I am 39 years old married mother of 2 girls ages 14 and 7. I am a former preschool teacher now caring and teaching children from my home. I have all my ECE units and have been fingerprinted through LiveScan as well as having current CPR & 1st Aid certification. I care for infants, toddlers and preschoolers offering a proven kindergarten readiness program. I guarantee your child will exceed in kindergarten* . I offer lots of tummy time,stories and songs for your babies. Your toddlers will have plenty of art projects,singing, playing and fun learning about shapes,colors and letters. Your preschoolers will be learning to write their letters and recognize them by sight , counting/number recognition,color names,days of the week, months of the year, weather, seasons and all about nutrition. They will also be learning simple math skills and will be introduced to kindergarten sight words. Our bottom floor to our home has been dedicated to the children. We have a classroom area, library, dramatic play area, block table area, art area, girls/boys toy shelves. We also offer a very secure and safe "baby area" that is not used by anyone under the age of 2. The children have their own bathroom and a peaceful nap room just for them with cribs for the babies and cots for the older kids. We do not provide lunch ( please bring a lunchbox daily) but we do offer 2 nutritious snacks per day (one in the morning ,one in the afternoon). We make sure we go outside everyday (weather permitting) to play in our large park like yard. This is a non smoking home. We have the following pets: 2 playful small dogs-mostly kept away during the day, 2 indoor declawed kitties we have dubbed "daycare kitties", 2 hampsters and a bunch of fish. The children take turns feeding the fish- and they love it ! We have plenty of parking and have a convenient location.
