Northeast Stars Montessori and Southern Stars Preschools (part of the STARS Montessori Group) are distinct in being professionally run preschools with an eye to individualized attention in a warm friendly setting. Our beautiful large Montessori classroom(s) feature the smallest amount of preschool students while still having the same number of professionals per child.

What is Montessori and MORE? We are a Montessori school with certified Montessori teachers. We also integrate a composite curriculum from today's best educational practices and work with our families to integrate those practices in the home.

In Nashville we have 4 classrooms, each with 12-22 students depending on age range and room size. Each classroom is led by a certified licensed teacher and assistant teacher.

Our toddlers are 24 to 36 months and our primary students are 36 months to 5 years.

Our curriculum allows you and your child to grow at an individual pace. While many preschools focus on a singular facet of learning, Southern Stars and its teachers focus on every facet of learning, including:

Gross Motor & Fine Motor Skills, Social Skills, Verbal Skills, Concentration & Focus Skills, Literacy Skills, Match & History Skills, Art, Music, Dance, and Play-Based Learning.

Each of these developmental and educational skills will allow your child to transition into kindergarten with a sense of purpose and an understanding of the world.

We offer year-round flexible schedule programs for children 24 months to 6 years old, including kindergarten readiness and kindergarten programs. Our Montessori teachers are trained by North American Montessori Center (NAMC).
