The Southampton Youth Association, affectionately referred to as S.Y.A.,
is a non- profit corporation. It was established 49 years ago to provide
recreational services to our local school age children, during leisure hours.
For 49 years, S.Y.A. has provided recreational services to our local
students. Our summer recreation program and our physical sport related activities are successful due to people like you.
Our ultimate goal is to provide wholesome, joyful, and beneficial
social recreational experiences for youngsters. It has also been our effort to create
employment opportunities and be an advocate for young people. S.Y.A. has
stressed instruction and sportsmanship over winning. We have successfully raised
consciousness that "Sports Build Character and Brings Us Together".
