South Strand Pet is a locally owned family business. We specialize in personalized in-home pet sitting and dog walking. We do NOT board pets. We care for any type of family pet: dog, cat, bird, fish, ferret, reptiles, etc. Our base is Murrells Inlet and we cover north to Market Common and south to Pawleys Island. With over 35 years of pet care experience, 7 of those running a pet sitting service elsewhere, we are one of the most experienced and highly rated pet care professionals in the Myrtle Beach area.

Our owner Steve oversees all aspects of the business. Most visits and client interaction is done through him. We are fully insured, completed background checks, and have one of the most advanced online client portals anywhere. Our services are simple. We offer daily potty breaks while you are at work or multiple visits per day while you are traveling. We are available 7 days from 5am to 11pm.

Our number one goal is keeping our pet clients happy. From that, our people clients will follow. We treat your pets like they are our own in your absence. Clearly, to be a successful pet sitter, you must love pets. We Do!
