We are an affordable, high quality preschool / daycare experience for children from 16 months to 7 years of age. Conveniently located in Family of Christ Church building. Our unique program is year round and open from 7 am to 6 pm daily.
The philosophy of South Metro Montessori blends Montessori and the Reggio Emilia Approach. Both philosophies address the whole child, supports each child in their uniqueness and encourages each child to be active members of the school community. We offer a wide range of complex experiences and materials that challenge children in their thinking, encourages collaboration, builds social skills and a joy in learning.
Shannon O'Connor is Director and teacher and has 25 years experience, teaching in the Early Childhood profession. She has attended 2 study tours to Reggio Emilia, Italy and is very passionate about Early Childhood Education and the need for quality childcare for children. Our staffing qualifications and ratios, meets or exceeds the DHS guidelines for Preschool setting.
