We are determined to help decrease the literacy rate in the state one child at a time through reading, writing, mentoring and educational programs focused on ending this war on children. We are starting with the battle for better reading and writing.
Vision Statement: We seek to empower young readers through exposure to books, people and events which encourage reading and writing.
SCGL (South Carolina Gets Lit) is a two-fold advertising program. 1. South Carolina Gets Lit is an author show, where ares are featured in a 30-minute interview, they receive a social media article about the book, get to read an excerpt from the book, the book will be placed in our global bookstore [(Europe, the UK, Canada, Africa, and the USA, Umoja One Market among other books and magazines.-Still in negotiation], promotion across our growing network of 25k friends/followers/connections, a flyer to promote the show appearance, and a copy of broadcast quality interview for a $50 donation. 2. The donation is used to fight illiteracy (buy equipment, pay staff working with the children and books). The show is available on Amazon Fire TV, Youtube, Facebook and more coming soon to give you more visibility.
