HOMEMAKER is a term used to reflect a wide range of supportive activities that are conducted for purposes of enabling compromised people to live independently in their own homes and communities. Such support also provides relief to caregivers who are looking after loved ones. The services provided are diversified and numerous and are delivered by a wide cross-section of professionals and paraprofessionals.

COMPANION CARE is a term used to describe the services provided to clients and their families likerecreational activities and social interactions to 24-hour home care and so many of the things in between. Companion Care services are home based supervision and monitoring activities that assist and instruct an individual in maintaining a safe environment for him/herself when the person primarily responsible for supervising is absent or unable to perform such duty. This includes the following activities such as escorting individual to medical appointments, recreational activities; activity of daily living (ADL); light house cleaning, dish washing, laundry, shopping, meal planning and preparation. PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANCE (PCA) duty is perform by one or more person assisting an elderly person with task that the client would normally perform in the absence of the disability. Such task may be performed at the individual home or in the community. The client has employer authority and is responsible for direction of the PCAs activities. The task may include physical or verbal assistance to the client in accomplishing Activity of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activity of Daily Living (IADL).
