We are a private home individual residential home care facility ( HIC - 2 BED ) in Henderson Nevada. Sophia's Home Care offers affordable in-home care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in our facility. We have two private rooms. Each patient has private room, a couple or relatives can share a room. We are a high level care facility.
What is a Home for Individual Residential Care (HIRC)
A Home for Individual Residential Care (HIRC) is the smallest, most versatile and private of all residential care facilities. Located in licensed private residences and limited to 2 beds, they allow for exceptional personal attention to the needs and desires of residents. Caregiver(s) are present 24/7 to meet the resident's needs with a caregiver-to-resident ratio of at least 1-to-2. Care is provided in a safe, comfortable and home-like environment. A HIRC may accept residents having a wide variety of conditions which could include, but are not limited to mild dementia, to persons who are non-ambulatory, those receiving hospice services, or those who have veteran benefits, etc. Of all the licensed facilities, this venue is the closest to actually being home.
We provide trustworthy, kindhearted, senior care services in our in - home care facility. All caregivers are certified, thoroughly screened, extensively trained, professional, and reliable. They observe how conditions affect the senior, recognize changes that may occur, daily report and record information relevant to care. Managing behaviors, encouraging engagement, assisting with activities of Daily Living, keeping you or your loved one safe.
Our home care service offers an affordable alternative to institutional care providing care for seniors. Caring for loved ones can be emotionally challenging and physically exhausting. My patients are all resident care elderly, they are like family to me and they are very satisfied with my home care services. I used to be a hairdresser and licensed masseur. I provide my resident patients with extra care services like haircuts, therapeutic massage, manicures and pedicures if needed. They always look nice and clean for well being effect.
I cook delicious and nutritious meals to improve their health and enjoyment in life.
My patient Larry, has been in my care home facility for almost 2 years now, he has advanced Parkinson's and dementia disease, his body gets stiff because the Parkinson's, when he first moved in my care home, he couldn't walk and couldn't swallow foods or drink, his head was tilted to the left side, the next day went back to hospital for emergency, after that he returned back to my care from the hospital, he told me very seriously, he thanked me for saving his life. I saw real sincerity in his eyes, I wanted to help him more and he knew that, his head stiffness has improved with my massage treatments, after 2 months therapeutic massage work, his head has been corrected by my massage methods. Larry can stand up, walk and eat by himself, his head is straight, he can eat and drink. With seeing all the improvements in his care, this has made me very happy. I'm glad I can help him, that's part of being a good caregiver to help elderly in Nevada. Lot's of times I have seen his wife heart broken, she cries often sadly in front of me, his wife and family are very satisfied with my support in caring for their family member. They come to visit from different cities to visit Larry, they have thanked me for taking good care of him. That's a good compliment from them to say of my care services and I'm glad I can help.

If you love your family stay away from this place, If your looking for a job stay away from this place. Sofia in my opinion can be too rough with her clients that cant speak up for themselves and can appear to make racist comments in front of them. She will offer you a job and agree to a wage then let you go and just change her mind on what she wants to pay you. On my first day just hrs after meeting her she was bashing previous employees and also giving me too much about her failed relationships with men. Then flipped it on me and sd I shared too much. Bipolar vibes.
