I provide quality Child Care and I ensure affordable, accessible, high quality child care for all young children and their families. My passion for education shows in each child's joyful eyes in each person inspiring voice, and in each room that is inviting warmth. My mission is to equip students from infants through toddlers with knowledge for life like thinking skills, and strength of character required to flourish as joyous children today and as successful adults tomorrow.
Each child in my care is an individual to be nurtured with affection and respect. Every detail is selected with the child's whole developmental in mind. The age of 18 months a child may begin his transition to the toddler program. Move up age may vary by serval months.
I provide toddlers with the idea environment to make the most of this irreplaceable period of time. I introduce toddlers to phonetic awareness through games that ask them to isolate and repeat beginning sounds of words an advanced skill often thought in kindergarten in other settings. My toddlers spends a large amount of self help skills that leads to independence from constant adult help. I offer our toddlers endless opportunities to practice daily task from pouring(firstmwith solid objects, like beans, then rice, then water) to sorting; from washing a table to watering plants; from dressing themselves in simple clothes. The crown jewel of the independence curriculum is our elaborate breakfast, lunch, and snack routine. Parents regularly comment how they are amazed that 1-21/2 year olds can independently serve, jointly eat, and clean up after their daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
Each child learns Social Skills by developing through role play and language development. We also introduce Sensory and gross motor activities which helps the children in developing their fine motor skills and their abilities to observe and solve problems.
We lead the children in songs, dance and a variety of other excercises that offer them the opportunity to jump, climb, balance, crawl or skip, and this exercises their large muscles.
Teaching toddlers is a career, not a passing childcare job. We don't just want your child to be in a safe, fun, childcare setting; we want him to learn and grow by leaps and bounds!
