Small Wonders provides high quality child care with developmentally appropriate activities to promote natural growth and learning in preschoolers. We believe that play is really the "work" of childhood and provide every child with hands on learning experiences to discover new things and explore the world around them. Our primary focus for preschoolers is social and emotional development where children learn to play cooperatively with others, be part of a group, follow a daily routine, and learn to self-regulate behavior. For children ages three to five years we plan lessons centered on a weekly them and use play to explore numbers, letters, shapes, concepts and ideas.
