Sitter Daycare Activity Center

I am a mother of three, freelance artist, previous K-12 substitute teacher 5+ years, and love educational activities. I run my babysitting service in my home, but it is not just baby sitting! We will always have several activities planned for each day, including but not limited to: growing and tending to our own seedlings in the spring, outdoor gardening fun in the summer, outdoor play in a large yard with sandbox, slide, etc., various arts and crafts projects, playroom / indoor kid boxing gym, and *only parent approved movie/ cartoon time limited to about an hour or less each day.

In addition to the meals you wish to send with your child, they will get to enjoy some of the fresh organic fruits and veggies from our garden that they will learn how to pick! This setting is ideal for toddlers and up who are not yet in school. My daughter is 3 and she will be part of the group. I only plan to have one or two kids (other than my own) at first, but will take up to 4. That way there will always be plenty of attention for each child.

I know when I became a mom I was very hesitant to send my kids to a babysitter or daycare. I was blessed with the opportunity to work from home, but I am sure it is very difficult to make a choice about what kind of care your child gets when you have to go back to work. And not everyone has a grandma or a grandpa readily available! So I want this to be the next best thing to family, so you and your child feel comfortable and secure while you're working. I would be happy to meet you and your little one and allow you to take a tour of the property to see if it is the right fit.

The days and hours I am available are Mon - Friday 8am- 7pm

*Availability subject to change with at least two weeks advance notice during vacations and will permanently change in Sept. 2018.

*If your child is sick with serious illness ie high fever, vomiting etc. please keep them home. Colds, allergies, we can deal with, just give me the scoop.
