About the business
I offer private one-on-one voice or piano lessons online via FaceTime or Zoom in the comfort of your own home. I have a Master's Degree in Vocal Music Education, and 17 years of experience. I love bringing joy to people's lives with music! I teach voice lessons to people ages 10 to adult.
There is a $25 registration fee, which holds your time slot and enables you to start practicing with instructional videos right away on my Facebook Group. 30-minute lessons are $30 each, 45-minute lessons are $40 each. You can pay as you go, and payment is due before each lesson. Please feel free to ask me questions. I accept payments via Venmo and PayPal.

Ms. Vanessa is an amazing teacher and wonderful person. I took voice lessons from her throughout high school, and she helped me grow a lot in skill and confidence. She made sure that I improved my skills as a singer and musician, but she also always took into account what I wanted to work on, whether preparing for an audition or just looking for something I would enjoy singing for fun. She is extremely caring and patient, and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to take lessons from her!

Our daughter was taught Voice lessons by Ms. Vanessa for about four years. Our daughter enjoyed her music classes and showed tremendous improvement in her voice skills under Ms. Vanessa's teaching. She was able to get into University Choir because of Ms. Vanessa's focused and dedicated teaching. Ms. Vanessa is a very nice person and a very good friend of ours. We all would strongly recommend Ms. Vanessa for teaching music lessons to your children too.

I have the highest recommendation of Vanessa as a vocal instructor and choir and ensemble leader. I sang in a choir she directed for many years. She has a rare combination of enthusiasm, artistry, and technical skill. She helped me sing in ways I'd always wanted to but didn't know I could. She helped build my confidence to take risks and try new music, and even solos! I looked forward every week to the community and creative expression she helped foster. Vanessa is also one of the most genuine and caring individuals I have ever met. She truly approaches music and teaching with her whole heart.

Our daughter, Katie, took piano and voice from Vanessa for over two years. Vanessa's method of teaching laid a firm foundation of musical knowledge for Katie. She is able to sight read music very well and progressed in her abilities under Vanessa's guidance. Vanessa is a caring and patient teacher.

I began voice lessons at 55 with Vanessa. After a lifetime of thinking I had a terrible singing voice, Vanessa helped me understand the importance of breathe, phrasing and rhythm. She improved my confidence to the point that I could successfully cantor at my church. Love her as a teacher.

I have known Vanessa both personally and professionally, and I must say that she is one of the best music teachers I have ever worked with and an all around fantastic person. She is always cheerful and upbeat, and she goes out of her way to be kind. Her students always sound wonderful, and she has the patience to teach even young students. And she makes the lessons fun! Her technique is flawless; having studied opera in college, I know good technique when I see/hear it. I would strongly recommend Vanessa to anyone who would like to study voice or piano, beginner or experienced.

Vanessa has been such a blessing to me. I have enjoyed every minute of my voice lessons with her! Her charming and sweet personality along with her proven expertise, positive encouragement, and well planned lessons have really taken my skills to the next level in the best way!! Vanessa is absolutely wonderful! I got the pleasure of singing under her guidance in church choir and she was absolutely supportive and uplifting! She has a wonderful personality and is such a patient person which makes for a fantastic teacher! She has an amazing voice and loves to share her talent with others to inspire them to sing with confidence!

We had the pleasure of having Vanessa teach our oldest son. She is excellent with children! Very patient and kind. He learned quickly and always looked forward to his weekly lessons. My son's favorite Christmas song is "Carol of the Bells", when he was only 6 she was able to customize it to his level so he could play it at a recital.She goes above and beyond to make sure your child stays interested and engaged! I highly recommend Vanessa! You won't find better!

Vanessa is a gem! For my daughter's 5th birthday all she wanted was piano lessons. Vanessa was so patient and kind with my daughter as a kindergartner. She was a student for nearly 8 years (we miss you dearly!) Vanessa taught piano and voice, practiced audition pieces for the school play, and gave a level of confidence to my daughter that she carries with her today. Vanessa is a wonderful teacher for both one on one lessons and groups. She is highly skilled, patient, encouraging, and great with all ages. She has a knack for explaining things in many different ways to ensure good understanding for the student. Her passion for both music and teaching is obvious.

I absolutely love Vanessa as a teacher. I am 33 and just got into wanting to learn to sing. She really gave me confidence I needed and helped me realize I was better than I thought. Able to quickly identify what I was having trouble with and came up a personal way to help me improve.

My teen daughter had Vanessa as her teacher for many months. We were really pleased with how patient, kind, and knowledgeable she was in voice! My daughter found more of her voice in HS choir and has loved every minute of it!

I was one of Vanessa's adult students for quite a while. I mainly started because, as a drummer, I wanted to contribute to my bands more via backing vocals. I started out, literally, not being able to sing at all, but developed into being able to sing popular songs in the Bari-tenor range. It has opened up a lot of cool options in my bands, including singing lead at time, and now that I have a newborn, I can keep him entertained by singing various tunes.
