Hello!

I am Vanetta, a 19-year certified Educator seeking to transition as a Career Nanny/Teacher! I took a much needed break from the traditional educational setting after obtaining my Masters in Education Administration in 2011 and now it is time to get back to work and I am truly ready and excited for this aspect of my career and meeting wonderful families!

-PRIMARY OFFER #1: I come to you offering three levels of services but first and most importantly, experience, love, care, compassion, fun, dedication and quality time with your babies/children as a "Career Nanny/Teacher." I am flexible and open to discuss all the components of my services, hours, days, fees etc.

-ADDITIONAL OFFER #2: -I can provide an educational component to the Career Nanny/Teacher experience be it during those crucial years as a newborn/toddler covering those basic skills of reading, to building foundations for our babies getting ready to start school to our older babies who may need additional tutoring services in Reading/Language Arts, Writing/Study Skills etc. I offer it on all developmental levels of learning! If you are interested in adding the educational aspects of my services, please see fee schedule below.

-ADDITIONAL OFFER #3: I am also interested in a Homeschooling set-up. I would cover the daily subjects of Reading Comprehension/Language Arts and Writing. As for the Math/Science requirements, I have contacts that we can research regarding the many creative options available on adding these content areas to our curriculum including field trips that would keep learning fun, adventurous and relevant. Please know, Math and Science are not my strengths!:)

-FEES: Since I am seeking a position as a Career Nanny, I would prefer a more stable position where I am not jumping from family to family but I remain flexible as I build my reputation within the care.com family. We can discuss the details of an official contract as we move forward. My hourly rate for a Career Nanny is $25 per hour. For my services as a Career Nanny/Teacher, my hourly rate will be $35. Again, I am always willing to negotiate.

*PETS: I am a pet lover & it always makes me happy to see that they are loved & cared for. With that in mind, I have never been one for interacting with pets (holding/touching etc.) I think it is very important for you to know this upfront if you wish for me to work in a home with pets.
