Silver Linings Child Care

Available 2018 for in-home child care. I am experienced with children of all ages, and have completed college courses in both Nursing and Teaching/Education. We are hoping to be moving to the Perinton/Fairport area in relatively near future, and once settled, I will be available for child care Mon-Fri days with some flexibility (probably soon in 2018).

I'm a stay-at-home mom (3yr old & newborn), experienced working with children of various age groups as well as developmentally disabled individuals. I have worked with children as a tutor (middle and high school), substitute teacher (elementary, middle and high school) and part-time in a daycare center. I have also been a summer camp counselor for grades 3-12, and babysat for various children both for family and others, and worked 13 years as an Assistant Resident Manager for Wayne ARC before leaving my position to stay at home with my firstborn 3 years ago.

Children will be exposed to a variety of activities including crafts, games, songs and active play appropriate for their age (screen time is very limited in our home). I offer a safe environment for your child, and will provide healthy snacks and meals as needed/requested.

The ideal times as listed are between 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., but I will consider adjusting those hours to some degree. I am willing to meet with parents regarding any special needs and will work with you to get the care you need for your children. I am willing to meet or talk with parents and their children at my home, or elsewhere if preferred. Any inquiries/questions you may have are welcomed.
