Shuttle Butts is owned and operated by Wendy W. Wendy has been involved in dog rescue for more than 10 years and is the founder and president of S'Wheat Rescues. This rescue specializes in the rescue and placement of soft coated wheaten terriers and has successfully placed more than 500 wheatens in good homes. Starting as a one-woman show here in Missouri, over the last 10 years, S'Wheat Rescues has blossomed into a nation-wide wheaten rescue with a large network of volunteers helping needy dogs all over the country.

Working in rescue has given Wendy the unique opportunity to work with literally hundreds of different dogs and to learn how to work with all types of animal personalities and peculiarities. And yes, a few cats and even wildlife have ended up being rescued along the way as well.

After years of working a full-time job in addition to rescue work, Wendy now has decided to dedicate all of her time and efforts to her real passion, working with animals.
