Travis Lofstedt has been living in the Valley since 1996. After a childhood in Alaska, Travis moved to Tempe to pursue a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. For the last 10+ years, Travis has had the pleasure of shaping the lives of children in his role as a 4th grade teacher. In addition, Travis has been tutoring students in math for the past 10 years, ranging from 3rd grade to high school calculus. In 2009, Travis was intricately involved in the selection of the math program currently used in the Scottsdale Unified School District by being an active committee member of the Math Adoption Committee. As a result of his experience on this committee, Travis has a strong understanding of the curriculum currently being taught to Kindergarten through 8th grade students. In 2010, Travis was honored as 1 of 3 recipients of the Charros Fellowship and completed his Master's in Education with an emphasis in Administration and Leadership.
