A Cut Above Grooming was established in 1985! We have been apart of the community for a long time now and have no plans on slowing down. We are a small shop that gives more of a home like environment to your pet. We only take a select amount of pets each day to ensure the stress levels of your pet are at a minimum.
We have 2 Stylists, Melody and Jessica. Jessica is a Certified Master Groomer through IPG and is a certified Pet Care Technician through the American Kennel and Boarding Association as well as being CPR certified in canine CPR. Jessica travels all over the USA to attend several trade shows, seminars, work shops and private lessons throughout the year. Jessica also is a award winning stylist who has been competing in the grooming competition ring since 2006. Jessica also shows her own Standard Poodles in the AKC conformation ring. In fact Jessica's dog "Denali" won his class at the Poodle Club of Americas National Specialty show in Maryland in 2014.
We strive each day to care for every one of the pets that walks in our door and treat them as if they were our own. We groom all breeds of dogs and cats. From show trims to pet trims we do them all.
Jessica specializes in grooming of Poodles, hand stripping of Terriers, grooming cats and hand scissoring. Melody specializes in the grooming of older dogs who may need a little extra TLC and those sometimes "hard to handle" pets.
We offer other services like brushing of teeth, anal glad expression, nail filing or grinding and brush outs in between grooms as well as nail polish and pet hair coloring!
We use high quality shampoos and conditioners and offer many different types for each individual pets needs.
