Shoda Family Child Care

Schoda Family Child Care is small but your child will play, have fun, learn, explore and discover in a safe home-like nurturing environment.

Our goal is to promote a child s growth toward autonomy and partner with parents to develop responsible, respectful life-long learners who are prepared to successfully meet the challenges of the future.

We can arrange full and part time care for your kids (age 18 months - 5 years old) and we provide free healthy food (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner).

We encourage Independence with basic self-care skills, such as hand washing, nose wiping, opening lunch container or zipping a backpack (if the child have them), manipulating simple clothing fasteners, and covering child s mouth when coughing or sneezing.

If your child is able to keep his/her diaper dry for an hour we can start potty training, because your child is ready to be potty trained.

We instilling organization and teach children how to keep toys and any other staffs in child care and on the playground in order, after a play session, we show children how to clean up the space and where each item belongs. Once a child knows the routine, he/she can clean up on his/her own.

We develop social skills as sharing, taking turns, playing with peers.

We teach table manners, following directions, not interrupting, and saying please, thank you, and excuse me . This teaches your child how to pay respect and for others.

We encourage emotional readiness. We help children to express their emotions in a safe situation and labeling the specific emotion (for example by saying, Oh, you are cranky because you are so tired). The child learns to manage and express his/her emotions in a healthy manner.

We teach children colors, numbers, and the ABCs , their full name, their parents' names and their address.

I am a mother of a girl and she is grown in Shoda Family Child Care. Lets play, learn, grow, build self-esteem, and develop child s imagination together!
