About
Hi! My name is Emily. I have a few openings for some sweet kiddos at Shine In-Home Pre-School in Edmond. I have a degree in Outdoor Recreational Management from UCO with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education. I am first aid and CPR certified, licensed through DHS, on WAP food program (serving nearly all organic foods), have lots of experience in childcare and teaching, and have plenty of great references. I also have two other wonderful teachers so we offer low ratios and lots of love! Each day we do a fun, stimulating curriculum that the children love! We learn, grow, dance, sing, do art, read, and play! We also have daily creative art lessons, and a stimulating music time! I believe in hands on learning (and sometimes that means getting a little dirty!!) I believe it is important to socialize young children and teach them how to interact with other children and with adults. I believe in teaching the whole child (intellectually, emotionally, spiritually) and I believe in individualized learning plans (even at young ages). And most importantly I believe in Jesus Christ and I pray that is evident in all that I do.
We have a very fun, safe home with lots to keep your child stimulated and entertained. Currently I am only taking private pay. I can do full-time or part-time. Open 7:30 am - 5:30pm.
