Hello, my name is Shellie. I am a Homeschool mom to my Son Jacob and Daughter Elizabeth and a wife to my Husband Matt of 12 years. I am looking to watch 1-2 children Monday through Friday in my home. We live on a 25 acre farm where There is plenty of room to run and play. We raise chickens and golden doodles as a family . I enjoy baking and cooking and caring for my children and husband.
I am trained in First Aid/ CPR . I have been caring for children since I was 14. During those years i have had 3 years of formal childcare training with on the job experience. I have worked in several daycare facilities, taught Sunday school for years, been the director of VBS for 4 years at our previous church where my husband an I were the Youth Directors and I was a tutor for our local Homeschool group.
I love children and the joy they bring to my life! I enjoy watching them grow and learn and discover new things, which is a daily adventure for a child!
During our days of learning your child can expect reading time, outside play, Arts and crafts, and age appropriate activities. I believe that a child does most of their learning when they are able to play and figure things out for themselves in a controlled environment .
Your child/children will be provided with 2 balanced meals and 2 balanced age appropriate snacks a day.
