My name is Shelby. I was born In Glenwood Springs and raised in Gypsum. I am currently taking classes for Early Childhood at CMC. I am working on my Associate's degree for Early Childhood. I have a Lead Teacher Certificate for the state of Colorado. I have three years of teaching experience with ages 2 to 4. I have always had a passion for children. My parents wanted us to gain responsibility and required us to get a job and I chose to babysit and to work at a flower nursery. I love kids and kids seem to love me back.
I am currently married to my best friend and we lead a very adventurous life. I really enjoy teaching kids with a hands on approach. I love to do art project, science projects, reading and playing outside. If your child has homework I would love to sit down and help them do and understand it. I am a very hands on teacher and love to learn and grow with you kids.
