My name is Shanta Dolan.
I have been a NYS registered family daycare provider since 2003. I am licensed to care for 6 children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years (or registered for kindergarten) plus I can care for 2 additional school aged children up to age 12. I am also enrolled in the NYS CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program). This means each meal and snack has a specific food criteria that I must serve. I receive 3-4 unannounced inspections annually as well as submit reports monthly.
To keep my registration in good standing with NYS, I am CPR & 1st Aid Certified. I receive a minimum of 30 training hours every 2 years. I also receive announced and unannounced inspections from my licensor. The regulations that I must follow are to neumerous to list but can be found on the NYS OCFS website.
