Shannon's Loving Childcare

Hello parents and guardians!

My name is Shannon. I am originally from the Great state of Minnesota-born and raised. I am the mother of 2 talented, smart, caring teen aged boys.
I am passionate about early childhood education and find it very rewarding to help nurture these bright, young, curious minds.
I have been involved in child care education for the past 25 years. I have worked as a nanny, at daycare centers and have run my home daycare. I was also a ice skating coach for kids back in Minnesota.

At my home-day-care, I plan to watch 3 children. A small group will allow me really interact with all the kids closely and engage them in a variety of educational and fun activities. Activities would include, but not limited to reading books, alphabet and number recognition, coloring, shapes, singing, music, arts and crafts, building with blocks, puzzles, colors, I teach a few basic sign language etc.
I have experience caring for twin boys as I cared for twin boys in my home from 3 months up until 5 years of age,
I have experience caring from new born to early elementary.
I love to cook and bake. I am American my husband is Korean so I love to make all different kids of foods. Baking is my favorite as my two boys love getting involved.
I plan to involve your children in these fun activities such as measuring out ingredients, stir, knead the dough, frost and decorate the cookies and cupcakes etc.
I love the outdoors and will engage kids in sorts of activities like going on nature walks we have lots of nice waling trails, blowing bubbles, playing freeze tag, soccer, playing catch, side walk chalk etc.

I am CPR-first-aid certified.
I am fully vaccinated (covid)
practice Covid safety protocols diligently.
I provide all homemade healthy meals with fruits and veggies along with snacks milk/juice.
My primary goal is to educate, love, care and cook fresh homemade meals which are all very important for early ages of your child's growth.
I provide a safe, loving, caring, home environment for your child to grow.
I have exceptional references and recommendations.
