Shanna's Outer Banks Babies

Hi, my name is Shanna. I recently moved to Nags Head. I am 23 years old, and have been taking care of children since I was 14 years old. I babysat full-time since I was 19, and had a wonderful experience, and loved every single one of the kids I watched. I have personally babysat ages 6 weeks up until 13 years. I have a two-year-old son, and an eleven-month-old son of my own. I also have experience with children with autism and adhd. I live in a smoke-free and pet friendly home (1 dog). My husband and I also have our clearances and a long list of references which can be available at request. During the school year I like to implement more learning times as well as homework time, also crafts and story and movie time are provided each week. I like to think of my daycare as a fun place where kids get to be around other kids and do fun activities and learn at the same time. Once a month I like to host a field trip of some sort, where I provide FREE babysitting for the day, (on a weekend) each child would just need to bring money for whatever that trip may be, it ranges from a party at the house, or an outing we go on. I will have applications/contracts with parents, along with an emergency card for each child. Normal Hours are Mon-Fri 6a-6p. Weekend s and evenings vary on a weekly basis. Closed for holidays. List of holidays will be given in initial application.
Prices:
*Daily- $25 for one child, $40 for two children, $50 for three children
*Weekly M-F -- $100 for 1 child, $175 for 2 kids, $225 for 3 kids
Before/After School- $10 per child per day (If just before or just after school care $5 per child per day) (Delay, half days, and no school day rates apply)
Weekend (Saturday/Sunday) per day- $25 per child (availability varies by request only)
Overnight's (8pm-8am)- $20 per child in family
Late pick up fees- $5 per child per hour between 6pm-8pm (then get charged overnight fee)
Bounced Check Fee- $35, after second time no more personal checks accepted for three months, then the third time no more personal checks accepted for indefinite
*You pick whether you will pay daily or weekly at registration.
