Shalom Daycare Ministry

Shalom Daycare ministry is a registered ministry with the State of Indiana and we hold ourselves to the same standards as a registered daycare. This includes following ratio, safe sleep, and sanitation procedures among others. Each age group has their own classroom in the church building. The children have a structured schedule with breakfast, lunch, and two snacks served along with time each day for supervised play outside on our fenced-in playground and/or in the gross motor area within the facility. Our programming and curriculum provide developmentally appropriate and age specific learning opportunities for each child. In addition to traditional learning goals, sign language is also a part of our teaching methods. Shalom Daycare staff members are well trained and dedicated to maintaining a loving and nurturing environment for all children. Each staff member is certified in CPR, first aid, and universal precautions. Most of our staff members have been involved in childcare for many years and several of them have a CDA in Early Childhood Education.
