Shafer Day Care

Hello! My name is Kristen and I am looking for a few children to watch in my home during the week. I have an 8-month-old daughter, and chose to quit my job to be a stay-at-home mom. I think it will be wonderful to have a few kids for her to interact and play with as well as help with developmental milestones.

As a mom, I am also sensitive to the large amount of germs and viruses that children are often exposed to at daycare given the amount of children in attendance. This is one of the main reasons why I am overly clean, and want to limit the number of children in my home. Children's health is of utmost importance while their immune systems are developing!

Prior to my career in property management, I was a full-time nanny for 6 years, for children ranging in age from 2 months up to 12 years old.

Children are my passion! I love having a good time and keeping children active and happy!

Kristen's childcare philosophy: I am a very upbeat, energetic mom who loves children and loves having fun. Being a first time mom, I am very responsible, and sensitive to the wants and needs of children, and make sure they are well cared for and safe while in my presence. I have a safe, clean home environment, and will be able to keep your child on whatever schedule they need due to my daughter being on a schedule as well.
