Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Companionship and conversation
Assist with meal planning and preparation
Assist client to live in a clean, safe environment. Housekeeping duties include: cleaning, laundry, vacuum, dusting, changing bed linens, floor cleaning.
Running errands
Understand and follow infection control policies including proper hand washing techniques.
Maintain appropriate communication with the Nursing Supervisor (writtenand verbal) and with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
<br/> Document cares given and pertinent observations accurately as directed by the Care Plan and Nursing Supervisor.
<br/> Treat clients and families with respect and maintains confidentiality.
<br/> Accept and fulfill assignments with the Agency and exercise judgement in accepting assignments.
