David Lattin, President of Senior Helpers West Houston, knows all too well the challenges and rewards of caring for a loved one because he has provided care for his own aging mother. He understands the value of what it means to age in place, at home. David is now an active advocate for all seniors to be able to receive professional, knowledgeable, and skillful caregivers.
David is a former basketball player who went on to make his mark at Texas Western College (now the University of Texas at El Paso) by leading the Miners to a historic national championship in 1966. He was a first round draft pick of the San Francisco Warriors, playing for one season before being traded to the Phoenix Suns and ending his pro career with the Harlem Globetrotters in 1976. David now enjoys helping others age in place at the comfort of their own home.
