Sendejas Family Child Care and Preschool is a licensed in-home daycare which provides a fun, loving and safe learning environment for children. What sets it apart from other day cares is that it has been my decision to care for only up to 6 toddler and preschool children (ages 1-5) at a time. I feel it is vital to give children the necessary time and attention they deserve to better nurture and fulfill each child's needs. Therefore, limited openings for full time positions are available.
Sendejas Family Child Care is:
*CPR and First Aid Certified
*Registered with the State Food Program, which helps regulate and provide guidelines for the healthy meals and snacks that are provided
*Has many different books, educational toys, puzzles, and fun activities
*Has a large backyard with outdoor equipment such as a castle play structure, play
house, tricycles, water table, sand box area and much more!
*Has plenty of daily activities such as story-time,games and art and craft time, etc.
The new preschool curriculum is implemented throughout the day which features, a new theme each week. This includes the alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes. I also use a program where children are taught to write their names. If a child is able to complete the curriculum, parents are also given the option of having their child participate in learning their numbers and the alphabet in Spanish.
The goal at Sendejas Family Child Care and Preschool is for the children to thrive socially and academically. I really strive to make sure that my toddlers and preschoolers feel safe and cared for here as if it were a home away from home!
