Seesaw Lane Daycare

SeeSaw Lane Daycare has one full-time opening for a child, infant through 4 years old.
It has always been my dream to establish a daycare in my home and take care of children. After working 33 years in the health care food service industry, it was finally time for the chance to fulfill my dream. I was a Girl Scout Leader for 8 years in the Sunfield district of the Capital Area Girl Scout Council. I have raised two successful daughters and now have three grandsons that I am lucky enough to care for.
I am registered with the state of Michigan, #DF230309152 to care for 6 children. My husband Bill also lives at our non smoking, country home, located a few miles south of Sunfield.
The care a child receives during the parent s absence is very important. It is my goal to provide a loving, nurturing environment in which children will grow and learn. My aim is for this learning to be cognitive, social and emotional. I want children to feel loved and secure while in my care. We have a daily schedule that includes going outside twice a day, as weather allows. I am currently studying the Creative Curriculum and plan to implement it this year.
A few of my children go to school, so during school day I only have 2 or 3 children.
