Seeds Home Daycare

I have over 25 years of experience. I'm a mother of three children 25 yr old son that is in the Army and my 22 yr old daughter that is my part time helper and a 15 year old daughter that is one of my helpers in the summer. So all my time during the day is with your child I had my own daycare in Plainfield, IL and now live in Berwyn. I'm bilingual English/Spanish speaking. My program is structured with preschool activities, arts and craft. I provide nutritional meals and snacks, and we are regulated by YMCA for Child Food Program. We welcome every day diverse families and children. My goal is to provide the highest quality child care. We achieve this through a combination of education, experience, a positive attitude and most importantly a love for children.
My home is a safe and happy place where children can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially at their own pace. We provide the children under our care with opportunities to learn with mixed aged groups where they can feel safe, loved and can begin to build a positive self-image, in a clean and interesting environment. We encourage children's curiosity, creativity, confidence, independence, discovery, cooperation, and language. We believe in the value of playing. Through play children will learn cognitive, language, physical and social skills.
We love music and dancing and incorporate these elements into every day. Promoting parent involvement is essential to develop partnership between child, parent and teacher. Parents are welcome to participate in daycare activities. I believe in respecting any family culture and beliefs, giving them the opportunity to feel free to share or give any comments or ideas for the program. Children are like seeds water them care for them and watch them grow:)
