Secure Haven Care

Secure Haven Care is a premier provider of care and services to adults and children with developmental disabilities. Our service area is primarily within Franklin county.
The DSP position works directly and closely with our consumers (developmentally disabled adults and children). You will assist them with daily activities, be responsible for dispensing medications, provide transportation, and generally oversee other individualized needs. On occasion, you may be required to deal with behavioral issues which we will train you to recognize and how to respond.
A person suited to this position has a caring and patient personality, enjoys helping others, can work independently, and is respectful of co-workers and individuals being served. A minimum high school education is required. You will need to have - or be willing to obtain - CPR and first aid certification and med administration certification. You must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points, and have evidence of current auto insurance. Other requirements will be discussed with you at your interview.
While prior experience is definitely a plus, we will train those who would like an opportunity to begin a new career in this growing and rewarding service industry.
