Second Home Childcare

I am currently offering childcare in my home for 1 to 2 children on weekdays. Hours can be negotiated based on parent schedule. (Part-time and drop-in care also available.)

About Me: I am a military wife and stay-at-home mom to 2 boys ages 7 and 4. I previously worked at a Navy Child Development Center, as well as running my own Child Development Home while living overseas. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences and worked in healthcare before quitting my previous job as an x-ray tech and medical assistant to stay home with my children. I am very knowledgable in healthcare and can easily handle medical emergencies, food allergies, etc. I also have a clean driving record and a vehicle large enough to transport children if necessary.

My 4 year old and I do a daily Bible-based home preschool curriculum, which I would gladly share with your child. This includes alphabet and phonics lessons, as well as arts and crafts and a daily Bible story. We incorporate a lot of outside play and educational experiences into our day. We also take weekly trips to the library and local park which I would continue with your approval. (Less than a 10 minute drive to both.)

I have a large, clean, smoke-free home with a designated play room full of toys, books, puzzles, games, and items which promote dramatic play (kitchen, dress-up clothing). I also have a train table and easel. I have a large, fenced in backyard for outside play and live in a neighborhood that is great for daily nature walks.

Daily nutritious meals and snacks included. I would prefer toddler to preschool aged children and am also willing to do before and after kindergarten care for children who live in our district (Butts Road Primary).
