About
I, Savannah Burkhardt, run Savvie's Angels out of my big beautiful home here in Austin. My mother ran a home day care program as i was growing up so I have always been extremely child care inclined. I also have helped raise seven of my nine siblings. I served 4 years in the Army as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Specialist and medically retired due to a previously fractured femur. I've taken and am well versed in nutrition and wellness, as well as child development courses. I am CPR and First Aid certified. Texas law states you may watch over fifteen children per one adult, however I like to build one on one relationships with my students, so I feel ten children per one adult is a much more reasonable ratio. I was a preschool teacher at Boone Elementary here in Austin, TX.
