My experience with children really began when I was 18 and in college. I was left with the task of raising my 6-year-old sister. I got her ready for school every morning, picked her up everyday after school, helped with her homework, cooked her dinner, bathed her, and put her to bed... as well as playing games, hosting her friends for play dates, taking her swimming and to various events.

My experience with children continued into my personal life. Over the past six years, I have taken care of multiple children for friends and neighbors... never on a regular basis, just as needed. Now that my baby starts kindergarten, I'm looking to babysit on a more full-time basis. I love children, and I'm planning on returning to school to become a kindergarten teacher.

I am currently looking for 3 or 4 infants/babies/toddlers/preschoolers to care for in my home in Hockley. I am a 32-year-old military wife and stay-at-home mom to four children. They range in age from almost 5 to almost 13. I am a Christian and attend church regularly. I am a non-smoker. I love to cook, bake, play games, watch Disney movies, do crafts and just have fun. I am originally from SE Texas, but just recently moved back here after being away for almost 5 1/2 years. We bought a brand new home with lots of room, a large backyard and we have a 4 ft. pool.

As far as care goes, I would like to have a schedule with some learning activities as well as lots of fun time. I can provide the schedule, as well as a menu, a week in advance.

I can be available as soon Monday, August 19.

5:30 A.M. UNTIL 7:00 P.M.

RATES:
NEWBORN TO 6 MONTHS - $10/HR
6 MONTHS TO 12 MONTHS - $8/HR
12 MONTHS TO 5 YEARS - $6/HR
BEFORE/AFTER-SCHOOL CARE - $5/HR
