Sara's Daycare

Hi, my name is Sara Jankowski. I provide child care out of my Crown Point, Indiana home. I am a mother to 3 wonderful children. Two daughters ages 12 and 8, and a son who is 1. I have 10+ years providing care for children out of my home. A normal day of care consists of breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks. Also we have both indoor play and outdoor play. We have a large backyard with a "park" in it. We also have lots of fun going for walks, playing with sidewalk chalk, bubbles, sprinklers and water tables. Throughout the different season we do different projects, such as planting flowers and each day the child will water the plant, which will eventually be sent home in a decorated pot from your child. In the Fall, we do fun with leaves. Each week we will be working on a craft, examples are homemade stepping stones, T-shirts, picture frames, collages, etc. We have a lot of fun with indoor play, such as reading books, playing with toys, building blocks, age appropriate board games and puzzles. Nap time or quiet time for older children take place daily in the afternoon. I will always work with parents and keep them on a certain schedule if requested. Each day the parent will receive a written description of the child's day. This will include diaper changes, what was eaten and what times. Also any other info that the parent requests or any kind of out of the ordinary was to happen on that day. Please know that I will always provide a safe and caring environment for your children.
