Sandy's Twinkle Toe Family Day Care

I have 23 years of taking care of children. Previous, I was a foster parent and went on to adopt a child. I had the opportunity to have a family day care out of my home in 1999 in SC. Later I moved to NJ and worked at Wee Kids Early Learning Center. I have worked with Infants to Pre K.

My priority is first and foremost always the parent and the needs of their child and my goal is to exceed your childcare expectations. I believe the relationship between Twinkle Toes and the parent is a vital one. My home is a safe and trustworthy environment where your child will thrive and most importantly feel loved.

Breakfast is served between 7-8:30 a.m., after 8:30 a.m., parents should provide breakfast at home before bringing your child to day care. I offer morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack throughout the day. At 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. we will have learning time of whatever the theme is for the month. Outside play is schedule in the early morning hour and lunch is at 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. After lunch, nap time is at 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Children who are not ready for their nap will be provided a book to read quietly. The back yard is a fenced in large yard and covered patio for the children to run and play. With little people, keeping their interest and motivation is always a challenge. I plan to prepare a variety of educational activities such as games, painting, playing ball, plenty of outdoors activities, planting a garden, reading books, and listening to our favorite kid songs, such as 'THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO ROUND AND ROUND" and using our imagination. Infants to 2 years, activities such as tummy time, rocking to baby songs, and ABC song, verbal gestures, picture books, and facial expressions and learning how to balance by standing and walking.
