Samantha's Preschool And Childcare

Small licensed home preschool/childcare looking for friends to join our group. I currently have 1 full-time spot and 2 part-time spots available. I am located off Greenback Avenue near Dewey Drive. Childcare is offered from 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Children are provided with healthy meals and snacks daily. I provide age and developmentally appropriate activities for all children. I focus on play based, hands on learning to encourage early language, math, gross motor, fine motor, social and emotional development. We follow a daily schedule that includes learning activities, art, sensory activities, music/movement, story time, free play and time outdoors.

I have 5 years experience working in both home based and center based preschools and childcare centers. I also worked for 3 years in a before and after school program and was assistant site supervisor for 1 year. I have 24 units of Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Psychology. I am a mom of a 2 year old and 9 year old step daughter. I spent the last 5 years working in mental health as a child and family Therapist for a nonprofit organization. I decided in January that I wanted to spend more time with my children and open my own home preschool (something I have always wanted to do). I enjoyed my time working with children in the past and wanted to provide parents with a place that they could feel confident that their children are safe and well cared for.

My rates are: $40 per day (6 months-2 years), $35 per day (2-3 years), $30 per day (3+ years) and $25 per day for half day program.
