I am a married (22 years), mother of 4 children ages 22 years, 20 years, 19 years and 7 years. My older 3 attend NC Colleges, East Carolina, UNC Chapel Hill and UNC Asheville. I have experience as a substitute teacher in the Dare County School system (Year 2000), was active in the PTA serving on the offices of Vice President and President. I have volunteer experience that included serving on the Dare County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Sunday School Teacher and Youth Activity Coordinator for the Town of Kitty Hawk Heritage Day Festival. In 2012, I have obtained my NC Early Childhood Credentials, ITS-SIDS, CPR, First Aid, playground safety and other early childhood training offered through CCR&R. I am continuing my education at the College of the Albemarle in Early Childhood Education. By offering care from my home, I am able to provide quality, individualized child care for ages birth to 12 years in a playful, healthy, safe and nurturing environment. Full- time or Part- time with weekend availability to accommodate alternative work schedules. After School Enrichment program is also offered that includes homework assistance with engaging play and physical activities.
